After six years of activity, Romanian Rental Association suspends its activity.
This professional association, which included over 80% of the biggest rental equipment companies from Romania, tried for all these years to settle a few clear rules of good practice on the rental market in Romania, for the service providers and for their clients.
At the same time the Board of Directors of the association tried to improve the legislation in force with the help of the decision makers within ISCIR and even proposed a set of rules to the Romanian Parliament but in the end, these proposals were left in the stage of: “discussed and forgotten”…
Unfortunately, because of the crisis period in which RRA carried out its activity, the large number of insolvencies from the market forced some members of the association to practice dumping prices in order to survive, fact that finally led to the crashing of others’ enthusiasm… and implicitly to the failure of the whole project.
As a result of the cessation of the association’s activity, one of its founding members withdraws from the position of Vice-president and sets up together with Mr. Michael Bacila the BauRent Group.
