Immediately after the general elections in December 2016, many of us noticed that the “winning” political parties PSD and ALDE suddenly abandon the economic priorities stipulated in the governing program proposed in their election campaign and from the first days of the month of January 2017, they focus on changing the legislation of justice in order to release from criminal consequences all their members, chosen in the current Parliament, who had corruption files pending on the dockets of the national courts.
In this situation, the majority of the members of the company Access Machines & Spare Parts decide to go to Piata Victoriei in Bucharest and join the other 600,000 citizens who protested throughout the country, and together they succeed in the end to obtain the dismissal of the minister of justice Florin Iordache and the cancellation of the Government Emergency Decree 13, normative act that could have seriously affect the rule-of-law in Romania and implicitly, the current position of the country in the European Union, and through this could have irreparably damage all the excellent economic relations that we have with Germany, France, the Netherlands or Great Britain.
Therefore all the members of our company decide to actively participate in all social activities maintain the current status quo (positive from an economic point of view for Romania) and not to leave the business environment to become a long term “looser”, as a result of the irresponsible decisions of some elected politicians, “winners” in December 2016.
